Antique French White Ironstone Pyrogène Match Striker | Bistro Match Holder

A classic piece of French café culture, this antique white ironstone pyrogène features a tapered silhouette with fine horizontal ridges, a glossy rim and base, and a hollow opening for holding matches. Once a familiar fixture of French bistros, the textured surface was designed for striking traditional matches. Its sculptural shape makes it equally appealing on a bar cart or mantel.
